This is Ted Bailey who raced factory Kastan 1990-92 class 21-25 cruiser. The team at this time was Ted Bailey, D.D. Leone,
Jamie Lilly, and JD Finney. This picture was in the ABA mag at the Vegas Gold Cup 1990. What was cool about the picture was
Ted just got picked up by Kastan and won the race. Thanks for the picture Ted.
This is Marks' Kastan and his description: My Kastan is a Hybrid, she started as a 24" Cruiser, and then I basically
put the front end of a mountain bike on it. The forks are uber light and elevate me high enough, combined with the 26"
Wheel on the front, to a comfortable cruising posture. Most people are good at something, I am good at Wheelies! No joke,
I can wheelie a mile at a time, coasters etc. This is because I live near the beach and have 7 miles of promenade to practice
on; I have been doing them on and off for 30 years. So my bikes are built around this environment fast and lean.
The mountain bike is awesome, but to be honest, I love the purity of the Kastan. The acceleration is mind blowing, even
at the crazy geometry I am running. She specs out like this: Kastan 24 Frame (Mexico), Pace RC31 Carbon blades,
